Meet Big Boy . . . I don’t know how long he’d been at the shelter, but he certainly did all he could to get himself noticed this afternoon, would have swung on chandeliers had there been any . . . and this is his reward, neutered and now free to wander the pathways of our site . . . he even tried to sit on Alan’s lap just now, which considering his girth would’ve been a little too much for Alan’s poor knees to bear! He is clearly used to being handled . . . I wonder what his story is . . .
Adopted by Ann Kennedy
Note from Paula: Please also consider adopting an adult animal, it harder for them to find a home than the cute kittens and puppies
This adorable little kangal pup appeared at Dee’s house demanding to be fed. Many of you will know Dee, though she’s not on FB. Dee was for many years the mainstay of Gossips campaign for the street animals. She would love to take care of this little chap but, unfortunately, her neighbours already object to the number of cats and dogs she feeds, she has no room in her tiny apartment and her now diminished mobility prevents her from giving such a dog the exercise it needs.
If there are any cats or dogs that need a new home we will post that here and on our Facebook Group. Animal adoption or fostering is one of the most rewarding things you can do; the animals are so grateful!
Also requests for fostering will be published. Fostering means temporary take care for an animal. For example to recuperate from a surgery.
So if you are will to adopt a street cat, adopt a stray dog or foster an animal visit this page or our Facebook Group regularly.
